Conversion of a mixed-use building in Crown Heights from two residential units above a store into three residential units above a store.

The original scope was a redesign of the second floor unit. It grew into a change of occupancy: the second floor is divided into two independent apartments, adding a third home to the building without expanding its footprint or height.

A man sitting in a corner of a modern, well-lit kitchen, holding a smartphone. The kitchen features a white island with a sink, wooden cabinets, hanging pendant lights, and two wooden doors.

Floor plan with two mirrored apartments, each with a primary bedroom, second bedroom or office, bathroom, and flexible rooms labeled as fourth bedrooms or offices. The layout includes shared walls, bathrooms, and entrances.
