BROOKLYN, NY – Architect Christopher Mancia has announced the formal launch of a new collaborative design framework comprising two distinct professional entities: ARCNOMA and Architecture Nomad PLLC. To celebrate this milestone, a Studio Launch and Mixer will be held on Friday, May 15, 2026, at 42 Hotel in Williamsburg.
The launch marks the debut of a professional model specifically engineered to navigate the complexities of modern architecture. By separating the practice into two specialized arms, Mancia provides a clear structure for global innovation and local technical rigor.
A Dual-Entity Strategy for Global and Local Design
- ARCNOMA serves as the international design and research arm. Operating as a speculative studio, it focuses on global projects, human-centric research, and the "Architecture of Belonging." This entity allows for deep investigation into tactile materiality and cultural expression without geographic constraints.
- Architecture Nomad PLLC serves as the licensed professional practice for New York. This entity is dedicated to the technical execution, zoning compliance, and regulatory delivery of projects within the New York urban fabric.
The Collaborative Process
The work of this ecosystem begins long before physical drawings are created.
